Melanie Laschiver, MS Ed, CCC-SLP, is a New York State-licensed and ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist with five years of experience working with children and adults across hospital, rehabilitation, early intervention, and home health settings. She earned her B.A. in Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences from Loyola University Maryland and her M.S.Ed. in Speech-Language Pathology from Monmouth University, with specialized experience in early intervention, articulation and speech sound disorders, and expressive and receptive language disorders. Inspired by growing up alongside her cousin with autism, Melanie brings a compassionate, individualized approach to therapy that recognizes each client’s unique strengths, needs, and way of communicating. Fluent in Russian and conversational in Spanish, she founded DLG Speech Inc. to provide inclusive, evidence-based care that helps clients build meaningful communication skills and express themselves with greater confidence.
